New Year’s event of the Academy of Life Foundation – Kommersant

The Academy of Life, a charitable foundation for helping children from orphanages, organized a trip for children from an orphanage from the city of Sobinka, Vladimir Region, and participants in the regional project “Vector for the Future” (Tver Region) to prevent risky behavior in children and adolescents to the Russian State University of Arts and Industry named after S. G. Stroganova. The children were told about the possibilities of entering this educational institution, and also held a master class on making New Year’s toys. Glass Christmas trees, snowmen, birds and balls were created and decorated by hand by children together with university teachers. Subsequently, the toys decorated both the New Year tree of Stroganovka and other Christmas trees of the two capitals, in particular, installed in the State Duma building on Okhotny Ryad, in the Atom pavilion at the exhibition-forum “Russia”, held at VDNKh, in the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg and in the St. Petersburg cultural space “Third Place”. Friends of the Academy of Life Foundation also received unique toys to decorate their Christmas trees.
