A new species of sea squirt similar to pandas has been found in Japan.

A new species has been found in Japanese waters, which they call the panda sea squirt.

The species received this name because its color resembles that of a panda.

The panda sea squirt lives around the Japanese island of Kumejima. Writes about this tvmnews.

This sea creature is about two centimeters long.

On February 1, Japanese researchers conducted a study on the species and gave it the scientific name Clavelina ossipandae, meaning “bottle”, due to the species’ rather small size.

The white parts of the panda squirt are veins but look like bones, and the black parts on the head that look like eyes and nose have not yet been studied. Research on the panda sea squirt will continue.
