New sports facilities will appear in 12 districts and districts of the Vologda region

The implementation of the state program “Development of physical culture and sports in the region” continues in the Vologda region.
More than one and a half billion rubles are planned to be allocated for the modernization of sports facilities. These funds will be used to overhaul sports facilities in seven municipalities, and new ones will be built in 12. Within two years, 35 objects are awaiting construction, major repairs or reconstruction. The list is updated on instructions from Acting Governor Georgy Filimonov.
Plans for this year include the construction of sports and recreation centers in Cherepovets and Ustyuzhna, and the overhaul of sports and recreation centers in the Verkhovazhsky, Totemsky, Mezhdurechensky, Kaduysky and Vologda districts. In addition, a football field will be reconstructed in Kharovsk, a skate park and volleyball court will be built in Nyuksenitsa, a roller ski track will be built in Verkhovazhsky District, and a football arena will be built in Vologda and the Dynamo stadium will be renovated.
