Deputies of the Duma faction “New People” have developed amendments to the second reading of the bill on classifications. They propose to exclude small services from the proposed regulation, as well as those companies in which foreign shareholders own shares, but do not have operational control. The developed amendments are mentioned in the minutes of the meeting of the Center for Legislative Initiatives (CLI) under the public commissioner for the protection of the rights of entrepreneurs in Moscow, Tatyana Mineeva. Information about the new proposals to the law “Vedomosti” was confirmed by representatives of the Central Institute for Investments and the faction.
In early summer, a bill on regulating the activities of online classifieds services – classifieds – was submitted to the State Duma by Anton Gorelkin, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy (United Russia). On July 5, the draft was adopted in the first reading. Gorelkin’s amendments to the law “On Information, Information Technologies and Information Protection”, in particular, propose to limit the ownership of foreigners in classified shares to 20%. Also, their owners are required to ensure the integration of the service with a unified identification and authentication system and a public services portal.
