The Polish authorities intend to transfer a new batch of military equipment to Ukraine. This was stated by the Minister of Defense of the Republic Mariusz Blashak.
He noted that four Leopard 2 tanks have already been delivered to Ukraine. According to the minister, ten more vehicles will be delivered this week. Earlier, Poland announced its readiness to transfer 14 Leopard tanks to Kyiv.
Blaszczak added that Warsaw is also ready to open a service center for the repair of tanks sent to Ukraine, but Germany should start producing spare parts for military vehicles, as there is a shortage of them.
“Only the German defense industry can solve this problem,” the Polish minister stressed.
Earlier Blaschak announced the arrival of US-supplied Patriot air defense systems to Ukraine.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said in December last year that Russia would “click” these American systems.
