New life of the old school of Deisky

For almost half a century of history, the building of the secondary school named after A.T. Kankoshev in the rural settlement of Deyskoye, Tersky municipal district, has not seen such a large-scale renovation as this summer. The school bears the honorary name of the Hero of the Soviet Union, fighter pilot Akhmed Khan Kankoshev, who himself was a native of this village. There are two buildings on the territory of the educational institution: for primary classes and the main building. It is the main building that is now being overhauled under the federal school overhaul program. While the work is going on, the guys were engaged in a neighboring building.

“Since April 18, work has begun at our school as part of the overhaul of educational institutions. The roof and facade will be repaired in the educational organization, all engineering communications will be replaced, interior and exterior decoration will be carried out, door and window blocks will be replaced, and the basement will be repaired. Particular attention will be paid to ensuring security in the institution,” said the director of the MKOU secondary school s.p. Deyskoye Kharet Dzhanbekovna Kazieva.

To date, the builders have dismantled the roof and windows, removed the old coating from the walls and floors. The facade and interior are being prepared for finishing. Finishing internal works are completely carried out. The heating system was replaced, electrical installation work was carried out. Tiles are being laid on the floors and the cabinets are being painted. The repair of the main building of the school in Deyskoye should be completed in August.
