Netflix to add 40 games to its service in 2023

Streaming service Netflix is going to develop its gaming direction and plans add about 40 games to the platform in 2023. Another 16 games are in development for the service from Netflix’s own studios, and about 70 from third-party developers.
Netflix claims that new games will be released every month. Among the available projects will be role-playing and indie games, puzzles and story projects. The company notes that they managed to reveal the world of series and projects with the help of the gaming direction, for example, one of the most popular games on the service was “Too Hot to Handle: Love is a Game”, based on the reality dating show “Test of Seduction “. A sequel to this game is planned for 2023.
Netflix added to the video game app in November 2021. Initially, 5 games were available, now 55 projects can be played on the platform. Video games are available on smartphone and tablet apps. There is no additional charge to play the games, and there are no ads or additional purchases in the video games themselves. Netflix suspended its activities in Russia in March 2022 in connection with a special operation in Ukraine.
