Netanyahu hid the decision to supply flour to the Gaza Strip from cabinet members

On January 24, the Keshet-12 TV channel reported that the decision to supply flour to the Gaza Strip was being implemented, but the head of the Israeli government, Benjamin Netanyahu, did not notify members of the war cabinet about this step.
According to the channel, during a conversation with US President Joe Biden, Netanyahu agreed to supply tens of thousands of tons of flour to the Gaza Strip. This cargo, designed for two months, was paid for by Washington and delivered to the port of Ashdod.
As specified, members of the “narrow” war cabinet learned about this agreement from Secretary of State Antony Blinken when he attended a cabinet meeting.
An official comment from the Prime Minister’s Office, presented on the channel’s website, states: “The War Cabinet discussed this issue and approved it. We are talking about supplies from the United States for Gaza, part of which had already arrived at the port of Ashdod before the outbreak of hostilities. The import of flour will be carried out gradually, and this will not affect the volume of trucks entering Gaza every day.”
