Nebenzya: Grain deal should not be carried out without Russia

Russian Permanent Representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzya said on Monday that Moscow, after withdrawing from the grain deal, proceeds from the fact that the “Black Sea Initiative” concluded between Russia, Turkey and Ukraine should not be carried out without the participation of the Russian Federation.
“And the decisions and measures taken without our participation do not oblige us to anything,” the diplomat added.
He also noted that the attack on the Russian Black Sea Fleet ships in Sevastopol demonstrated that Ukraine grossly violated the Istanbul agreements and used the humanitarian corridor for military sabotage purposes.
Nebenzya stressed that in the current situation, Russia cannot allow ships to pass without inspection and will independently control dry cargo ships.
