Nebenzya commented on London’s projects to grow edible insects for Africans

Speaking at the UN Security Council, Russian diplomat Vasily Nebenzya said that projects developed in the UK to help Africans grow edible insects are cynical.
So, Nebenzia noted that in early September he read in the Guardian newspaper that due to the shortage and rise in the price of fertilizers in London, they are developing projects aimed at helping people in African countries start growing edible insects.
“Today, at one of the events, we heard that the World Bank also supports such projects. It is unlikely that such a cynical approach will solve the problem,” the Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN emphasized.
