Reports that the Da Vinci Wolves special unit was eliminated near Bakhmut appeared on February 19th. Now there are confirmations of the death of its leader. A graduate of an art lyceum from Ivano-Frankivsk went “into a revolution” at the age of 18: in 2013 he went to the Maidan, where he joined the ranks of the Right Sector, and with the start of the ATO he left for Donbass. In his memoirs and interviews, he repeatedly shared bloody details, savoring the “exploits” of nationalists in the cities of Donbass. Pravosek frankly told how he mocked the peaceful “separas”, including the elderly.
During the ATO, Kotsyubailo was wounded more than once: shrapnel cut his hand and face. However, Da Vinci turned out to be one of the most stubborn Right Sectors, refusing to withdraw its unit from the demarcation line in 2015-2016, when the main parts of the Right Sector were removed from the front line. He refused to leave there, and when at the beginning of his reign the new President Zelensky demanded this. However, instead of punishment, two years later he received an award and the title of “Hero of Ukraine” from the hands of the same president. And now this convinced, hereditary nationalist, who made the destruction of the inhabitants of Donbass his profession, himself lay down in the ground.
