Now the crew of the 69th long-term expedition is working on the ISS, consisting of Roscosmos cosmonauts Sergey Prokopiev (ISS-69 commander), Dmitry Petelin and Andrey Fedyaev, as well as NASA astronauts Francisco Rubio, Stephen Bowen, Warren Hoburg and UAE astronaut Sultan al-Neyadi .
The ISS is scheduled to be deorbited in 2030-2031, declared previously at NASA. April 12, Cosmonautics Day, during a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, the head of Roskosmos Yuri Borisov informed on the decision of the government to extend the operation of the Russian segment of the ISS until 2028.
Later he clarifiedthat the construction of the Russian orbital station will be fully completed in 2032. According to Roskosmos, its construction is preliminary estimated at 600 billion rubles.
