NArFU students became bronze medalists of the Russian Cup among universities in futsal. The competition was held in the Nizhny Novgorod region as part of the all-Russian project “Mini football to universities.” 16 men’s and 8 women’s teams took part in it.

This is the highest achievement during our team’s participation in the project. We have selected talented guys, one of them plays in the Communist Party of the Russian Federation-Moscow team. The guys were able to show their maximum,” said team coach Yuri Lukin.
According to the terms of the tournament, university graduates could participate in the cup, but the NArFU team was played exclusively by current students from VSHENiG, VSHPiFK, VSHUEiP, VSITiAS, ISMART.
Now the team will prepare for the OFF North-West Futsal Cup, which will be held in Kaliningrad from December 4 to 8.
