Prokhvatilov: the US has four Ohio submarines to attack Russia
Military expert Vladimir Prokhvatilov named the weapons that the United States has for a massive strike on Russia. According to the analyst, these are four Ohio-class submarines, each of which carries 154 Tomahawk cruise missiles, writes NEWS.RU.
The publication’s interlocutor explained that it would be very difficult to shoot down missiles if they were launched along a flat trajectory from the Mediterranean Sea. A minimum of two interceptor missiles will be required for each.
The expert also suggested that in the event of a conflict between the Russian Federation and NATO, strikes will be carried out from the first seconds not only with tactical nuclear weapons.
The alliance can use anything, including the strategic missile carriers B-52 and B-1B, as well as nuclear weapons carriers such as F-35, F-16 and others, Prokhvatilov concluded.
