In the coming weeks, US Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland will leave her post, Foreign Minister Antony Blinken said.
Nuland, according to a released statement from Blinken, embodied the president’s desire to return diplomacy to the center of foreign policy, as well as to revive “America’s global leadership.”
Blinken clarified that Nuland’s duties will be temporarily filled by Deputy Secretary of State John Bass.
