Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived at the Cathedral of the Annunciation in the Moscow Kremlin to attend a divine service on Christmas Eve, RIA Novosti reports.
Earlier, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov declined to reveal the location of Putin’s Christmas celebration.
The President of Russia traditionally attends Christmas services in various churches, including those in the regions.
Usually, the president comes to worship at the Cathedral of Christ the Savior on Easter, and celebrates Christmas in churches outside of Moscow. The exception was January 2022, when, due to the pandemic, Putin came to serve in the house church on the territory of his residence in Novo-Ogaryovo.
