The authorities of the Zaporozhye region said that the road to the Crimea through Zaporozhye is “safe enough”
Acting Governor of the Zaporozhye region Yevgeny Balitsky said that the overland road to Crimea along an alternative route – through the new territories of the Russian Federation that appeared during the special operation – is “safe enough.” He added that the cars following this path “do not directly threaten anything.”
“Go to the Crimea through the Zaporozhye region, everything is in order with us,” – quotes Balitsky RBC.
At the same time, he advised tourists not to stop on the road unnecessarily at night, especially in certain areas. Balitsky noted that tourists often try to deviate from the route in order to see a city.
“It’s good if it’s Melitopol or Berdyansk,” Balitsky said.
Worse, according to him, if these are “Pologi, Energodar, Vasilievka, Mikhailovka, Kamysh-Zarya, Kuibyshevo, Tokmak”, because these cities are close to the current battle zone.
“It is undesirable to leave the highway in the direction of the north-west,” summed up Balitsky.
