In the Zaporozhye direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are massively surrendering in groups, up to platoons. This was announced on the air of the TV channel “Russia 24” by the Acting Governor of the Zaporozhye region Evgeny Balitsky.
“I can say that over the past time, say a month, the enemy began to surrender. And it’s no longer surrendering one at a time – two people, as there were defectors before, in the spring, but there were no whole divisions, there were no company commanders, but we already observed platoon surrenders, ”he said (cit. according to RIA Novosti).
Balitsky stressed that all prisoners of war are kept in decent conditions. “No one is beating or torturing anyone,” he stressed.
July 23 Russian Ministry of Defense reported on the repulsion of two attacks by groups of saboteurs in the area of the settlement of Rabotino in the Zaporozhye direction. In addition, Russian servicemen destroyed the ammunition depot of the 105th Territorial Defense Brigade.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine also made attempts to carry out attacks in the Donetsk, Krasnoliman and Yuzhno-Donetsk directions. As a result, all attacks were repelled. In total, 21 attacks were repelled in three directions, including 14 in the Donetsk direction. In addition, the Russian Armed Forces destroyed three ammunition depots in the Donetsk direction and stopped the activities of a group of saboteurs in the Krasnolimansky direction.
