Nagorno-Karabakh Republic appreciated Pashinyan’s plans to recognize Nagorno-Karabakh as part of Azerbaijan

The press service of the National Assembly of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic issued a statement assessing the readiness of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to recognize the region as part of Azerbaijan.
The meeting called Pashinyan’s statement “catastrophic steps to cede part of the Armenian homeland to Azerbaijan.”
“Unacceptable … any statement by Nikol Pashinyan about ignoring the sovereignty of the Republic of Artsakh, the right of our people to self-determination … and any document drawn up on its basis,” the document says.
