The attack on the Crimean bridge was carried out by two Ukrainian unmanned surface vehicles, the National Anti-Terrorism Committee (NAC) reported, Interfax writes.

According to the organization, the bridge was attacked at 03:05 local time by two Ukrainian unmanned surface vehicles. “As a result of the committed terrorist act, the road component of the Crimean bridge was damaged. At the same time, two adults were killed and one child was injured. (cit. according to RIA Novosti).

On the fact of the incident, a criminal case was initiated on a terrorist attack (Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), the press service of the Russian Investigative Committee reported. The investigation is now identifying those involved in the attack from the Ukrainian special services and armed groups.

The incident happened on the night of July 17 on the Crimean bridge. As a result of which two people died – a man and a woman, who were driving in a car across the bridge. Their minor daughter was injured. The headquarters of the Krasnodar Territory reported that the child was diagnosed with a closed craniocerebral injury, her condition is assessed as moderate. The head of the Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, said that the incident occurred in the area of ​​​​one of the pillars from the Krasnodar Territory.

Road and rail traffic on the bridge, as well as the operation of the ferry, have been suspended. By 09:00 Moscow time, the railway service was resumed.
