You start your descent very well, and you lose speed just before the last intermediate, can you tell us about your race?
Up there, I was really good, I didn’t feel the pressure too much. And on the bike, I made two or three mistakes, I wanted to be too sure. This qualifying where I win with six seconds in advance Confused me a bit I think. I had a hard time all week with the home stretch and this succession of jumps. I worked, I was determined on it but this morning I took a little too long. Suddenly, I wanted to stop pedaling a little earlier, but I caught the bump on the fallout and lost all my speed.

When you cross the finish line in third position, what is your reaction?
I was disgusted, it was really hard to take. Here, I was really aiming for the win, it would be a lie to say that I am happy with this third place. Doing well at home was important to me, but I know that to do well you have to expect nothing, and be free to ride. It was not easy to manage this pressure. And rather than letting go when there was encouragement, I tended to focus on not falling, and that’s never good.
