Siberians Evgeny Kovalevsky and Stanislav Beryozkin set off on a unique expedition along the path of Russian sailors around the world – for the first time in history they will try to circumnavigate the globe on a sailing trimaran. They plan to achieve their goal and return home only in 2024. All this time, the viewers of the TV channel “My Planet” will follow the course of the trip – the first series of the program “Zero Meridian” will be released on September 24.
The travel-reality format, in which the documentary series was filmed, will allow each viewer to swim across the ocean with the characters almost in real time, because travelers will record on cameras every step of their round-the-world trip 24/7.
“Swim across the ocean. The story of a real trip around the world” is a unique format for “My Planet”, a travel reality show. The creative team of My Planet is always in touch with travelers. However, as the creators of the project joke, the main scriptwriter and director of this adventure documentary series is the ocean,” says Roman Lobashov, creative producer of the My Planet TV channel.
In the first part of this exciting documentary series, sailors cross the prime meridian and head for the coast of Spain.
“We are doing an expedition around the world on an amazing sailing ship and we are happy that we are doing this together with the My Planet TV channel. A real adventure documentary awaits you,” says Evgeny Kovalevsky.
