My.Games spun off Russian business and left Russia

The gaming company My.Games, which Leta Capital’s managing partner Alexander Chachava bought in September from VK for $642 million, has spun off its Russian division into an independent company, Astrum Entertainment. A representative of My.Games told Vedomosti about this. The restructuring, he said, is planned to be completed in the next few months.

Astrum Entertainment will become the new owner of the game licenses previously owned by My.Games. These licenses will allow the company to continue publishing games in Russia, including PC games from external developers. Astrum Entertainment will also keep the teams involved in the work on the projects, explained the representative of My.Games.
