The founder of Tesla and SpaceX, Elon Musk, commented on the allocation of another aid package to Ukraine in the amount of $2.1 billion, which the US Department of Defense announced on June 9. The entrepreneur wondered how it would all end.

June 9 Pentagon informedthat the United States will provide Ukraine with another $2.1 billion military aid package that will include “critical” air defense (AD) assets, including ammunition for Patriot systems, HAWK air defense systems and missiles, Puma drones, etc. The Defense Department also specified in the message that since February 24, 2022, the United States has provided Ukraine with assistance in the amount of $39.7 billion.
Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov, commenting on the allocation of military aid, pointed outthat Washington does not intend to look for a way to a diplomatic settlement of the conflict, and continues to pump Ukraine with weapons. Antonov stressed that peace on Ukrainian soil “is not included in the plans of Washington strategists,” since they are lobbying for the interests of the military-industrial complex.
