This was recalled by the Chairman of the State Council of the Republic Vladimir Konstantinov on the air of the Crimea-24 TV channel. He recalled that the region had property and this was enshrined in the constitution. So, no matter which country the peninsula belongs to, there are items that are the property of Crimea. Konstantinov expressed concern that the relics would simply disappear “on the way from the Netherlands to Kyiv.” The official believes that the fate of the amber room from the Catherine Palace is destined for the artifacts. And in this case it would be better if the Scythian gold remained in storage in the Netherlands.
Recall that on Friday the Supreme Court of the Netherlands upheld the decision of the Amsterdam court on the return of Scythian gold to Kyiv. the collection consists of 2 thousand items. They were taken to Europe in 2014 for an exhibition at the Allard Pearson Museum.
