Musk believes that countries need to create special departments responsible for AI, without waiting for the moment when “something bad” happens. Because when it happens, it will be too late. AI can learn to control itself, he added.
The businessman believes that some people, such as Google co-founder Larry Page, do not take AI security seriously. Page has been voicing ideas about a “digital god” and wants to see “beyond AI” as soon as possible. Musk pointed out that security needs to be approached more responsibly.
