Musk confirms plans to rename Twitter

American entrepreneur Elon Musk has officially confirmed his plans to rename the popular social network Twitter.
In April of this year, it became known that Twitter actually ceased to exist independently after merging with X Corp., Elon Musk’s company. According to official documents, the merger took place on April 4.
This event caused a lot of discussion and speculation about the future of the social network. According to the portal T(w)itter Daily News, due to the expansion of its functionality in the future, the social network may be renamed X.
Elon Musk acquired Twitter in October 2022 for $44 billion. Immediately after the acquisition, he implemented a number of management changes, including the dismissal of CEO Parag Agrawal and CFO Ned Segal. He also dissolved the board of directors and became the sole director of the company.
