Musk agreed with the opinion about the failure of the counter-offensive of the Ukrainian army

American entrepreneur and businessman Elon Musk reacted positively to investor David Sachs’ material about the failure of the Ukrainian counteroffensive. He wrote about this on Twitter.

“Well said,” Musk responded to Sachs’ material, in which he argues that “every day it becomes more and more obvious that the Ukrainian counteroffensive will not be able to achieve its original goals.” Sacks also conceded that Russia would be able to take control of even more territories as a result.

The businessman also pointed to the US role in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. He compared what is happening to the situation in Afghanistan, when “the American public has been assured for two decades” that Washington was winning there. In fact, the messages turned out to be false. According to Sachs, “we are moving towards the same result in Ukraine.”

The Armed Forces of Ukraine have been conducting offensive operations since June 4. On June 9, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine had definitely begun, but the Ukrainian army was not able to achieve its goals in any sector.

According to the Ministry of Defense on June 14, since the beginning of the offensive, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have lost 7,500 people killed and wounded. On June 13, at a meeting with military correspondents, Putin toldthat Kyiv, starting from June 4, could lose up to 30% of the equipment delivered from abroad when trying to “large-scale” counteroffensive. According to him, since that moment the Ukrainian Armed Forces have lost 160 tanks and 360 armored vehicles.
