Museums of six Moscow schools became winners of the All-Russian competition of museums

The Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation summed up the results of the All-Russian competition of school museums. In the main nomination “Museum of an Educational Organization”, the winner was the “V. V. Mayakovsky Museum Club” of the V. V. Mayakovsky Moscow School.

Museums of five Moscow schools — No. 1449, 201, 1125, 1598, 1392 — won second and third places in various nominations. Another nine school museums received diplomas of various degrees.

In total, more than four hundred museums from 60 regions of Russia participated in the competition. Moscow was represented in the final of the competition by 24 museums.

As the organizers of the competition noted, the competition was held in order to assess how the content of school museums is integrated with the educational program, as well as the interests of the schoolchildren themselves, their parents, the demands of society, the needs and characteristics of the region where the educational organization is located.
