Muscovites won the Tula veteran chess tournament

In a protected area of the Tula region on the Oka River, a tournament of veteran chess players was held, timed to coincide with Grandparents’ Day.
Three dozen fans of the ancient game sat down at the black and white boards. These are Tula, Orenburg and Muscovites who played nine rounds.
“1st place with a score of 8.5 points was taken by international master, multiple champion of Moscow Evgeniy Dragomaretsky,” the Tula Ministry of Sports reported.
Two more chess players from the capital won silver and bronze.
Among the women, the first was Lola Yagupova from the city of chemists Novomoskovsk.
“MK in Tula” wrote: sports commentator Ilya Kazakov said that head coach Alexander Storozhuk and club general director Alexander Zotov worked well together at Arsenal.
