On April 3, an online marathon of emotional health starts in Moscow, which will last a month and a half. You can join it at any time.

During the marathon, experts from the Moscow Health Department will help participants deal with their emotions, consider the most common psychological problems that modern people have, and teach them how to cope with them.

“For several weeks, qualified specialists will analyze a variety of topics: the problem of low self-esteem, abusive relationships, painful reactions to the assessment of others, chronic fatigue and much more. In addition to theory, the experts will give a lot of practical advice that each marathon participant can apply in life,” said the chief psychiatrist of the Moscow Health Department, chief physician of the Clinical Hospital No. Alekseev Georgy Kostyuk.

The emotional health marathon is divided into thematic blocks. In the first week, we will talk about human emotions and the myths associated with their manifestations. In addition, participants will be able to assess their emotional state using a special checklist.

During the second week of the marathon, you can learn how to manage your emotions. So, experts will tell you how to cope with a feeling of anxiety and uncertainty or excessive self-criticism.

The third week of the marathon is devoted to relationships with others. Physicians will help participants learn to recognize and resist manipulation, as well as build meaningful relationships with family and colleagues.

One of the urgent psychological problems today is emotional and professional burnout. During the fourth week of the marathon, experts will teach you how to recognize this syndrome and talk about ways to cope with it.

In the fifth week, experts will analyze another important problem – eating disorders. Participants of the marathon will be able to learn what compulsive overeating, anxious anorexia and bulimia are, as well as receive useful tips on the prevention of such conditions.

The sixth week will be practical. Participants will have to consolidate the acquired knowledge and skills. They will also be able to ask experts questions on all topics of the marathon.
