Moscow has moved on to the off-season period, which is called “deep autumn”. Leading specialist of the FOBOS weather center Evgeniy Tishkovets spoke about this, he was quoted by the radio “TVNZ”.
“… Yesterday it was still a July night, but today it’s only +7. Further more. On Tuesday, a new portion of fresh air masses will arrive behind the cyclone. In some places, light precipitation will turn into mixed precipitation,” the forecaster warned.
At night, according to the expert, in the central part of the country the temperature will drop to plus 1 – 3 degrees in Moscow, in the region – to plus 3-5 degrees Celsius.
It will become a degree colder on October 18, with rain and snow expected. On October 19, precipitation will also fall in the central part, and there will be slight warming. However, by Friday, October 20, Muscovites will be hit by wet snow again. By the morning of October 21 in Moscow, the thermometer will drop to 0…+2 degrees Celsius; in the region the temperature will be -3…+2 degrees.
Warming is not expected on the weekend of October 22 and 23, especially at night, Tishkovets concluded.
