The Russian Society “Knowledge” together with the Educational and Methodological Center for the Education of Youth “Avangard” summed up the results of the first Military Patriotic Dictation. Six people became winners, including Muscovites Viktor Komov and Konstantin Alimov. The award ceremony was held as part of the educational marathon “Day of Heroes of the Fatherland”, which was held at the Manege Central Exhibition Hall.
The first Military Patriotic Dictation was held on November 15. More than 220 thousand people took part in it. The dictation consisted of 60 questions devoted to the military history of Russia, in particular, victorious battles, the life and service of the great Russian commanders, the glory of Russian weapons, and the exploits of heroes.
– I want to note that knowledge about the heroes is not limited to the Military Patriotic Dictation. There is a lot of content that we have prepared and continue to create, including today. On our sites there is an opportunity to see real heroes: not only military personnel, but also those who in civilian life devote themselves, their strength and time to socially significant causes. It is very important not to forget that real heroes are those who do something really important, and not for themselves personally, not for profit, but for the state and people around, – said Dmitry Rybalchenko, First Deputy General Director of the Russian Knowledge Society .
According to the director of the Avangard military-patriotic education center for youth, Darya Borisova, she believes that the dictation will become a good tradition.
“And to be honest, I sincerely hope that we will not have to educate heroes, but we will educate happy and healthy boys and girls who will live their lives as decent, honest people,” said the director of the center.
Mona Platonov.
