A thaw is expected in Moscow on Monday, but it will not last long, frost will come after it again. This is reported portal “Meteovesti”.
They noted that last night about 6 mm of precipitation fell in the city, the height of the snow cover increased by 6 cm.
“The next thaw, which will come to the capital region on Monday evening and last until the end of Tuesday, will reduce the height of snowdrifts, but this process will immediately be compensated by precipitation in the form of light snow and sleet,” the website says.
Frosts will return to the capital on Wednesday morning. The snow depth is forecast to remain virtually unchanged during the week and may increase next weekend.
