The country’s Open Championship in Greco-Roman wrestling among veterans was held for the first time in Kurgan. It is dedicated to the memory of the honored coach of Russia Vladimir Voronin.
The strongest wrestling masters from 28 regions of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Belarus and Kazakhstan took part in the competition.
A total of 49 sets of awards were played out in seven age divisions. One of the winners of the tournament was Murmansk resident Alexander Titkov – the head of the city, Igor Morar, had already congratulated him on his victory.
Previously “MK in Murmansk” wrote that Morar met with residents of the Pervomaisky district.
