Mortality rates from cardiovascular diseases in Russia turned out to be one of the lowest in history, Mikhail Murashko, head of the Russian Ministry of Health, said.
According to him, having emerged from pandemic threats, the country received one of the lowest mortality rates from cardiovascular diseases. The minister spoke about this during the forum “Medicine accessible to everyone.”
Murashko stressed that in connection with the implementation of the project to combat cardiovascular diseases, new approaches to the provision of medical care are being formed, and the care itself, including surgical care, is becoming closer to patients.
Former Minister of Health informedthat today the situation with coronavirus in Russia is improving. However, he added that its development will depend on the behavior of the Russians themselves.
