The head of the Ministry of Health, Mikhail Murashko, said that about 1.8 million cases of influenza were recorded in Russia over the past week.
Murashko noted that the incidence of influenza is growing throughout the country. At the same time, doctors are detecting new cases of coronavirus infection.
So, according to the minister, today more than 120 thousand people are ill with coronavirus in the acute phase.
At the same time, Murashko noted that the epidemiological situation in the country is gradually stabilizing. For example, Russians have begun to pay more attention to protective equipment, including wearing masks.
Earlier, immunologist Vladislav Zhemchugov said that the peak incidence of H1N1 influenza in Russia would come in the New Year. According to him, after the New Year, the incidence will decrease, as students and working people go for a long weekend.
