MP Belik called Zelensky’s laws on the division of Crimea null and void

State Duma deputy Dmitry Belik believes that the Ukrainian authorities, including President Volodymyr Zelensky, are trying to distract the public from the defeat at the fronts through their decrees on the “administrative-territorial structure of Crimea.” According to him, Zelensky “wanted to make himself known in history,” but he was faced with a reality in which Crimea is and will always be Russian.
Belik stressed that any documents signed in Kyiv on the territory of Crimea are legally and realistically null and void and have no meaning for the inhabitants of the peninsula. He expressed this opinion in an interview with RIA Novosti.
The MP called Zelensky a “fashionable PR man” and not a leader of the state. He argues that official Kyiv, with the help of such laws, seeks to divert public attention from failures on the fronts of hostilities.

The law provides for decommunization and the introduction of a new regional division, and also allows the government to establish temporary territorial communities on the territory of Crimea, on the basis of which military administrations can be created.
