Motorsports race Akhmat Race-2023 has started in Chechnya

On October 8, the grandiose motorsport race Akhmat Race-2023, dedicated to the memory of the First President of Chechnya, Hero of Russia Akhmat Kadyrov, started on the track of the Fortress Grozny circuit. The marathon is being held in the capital of Chechnya for the seventh time. For this purpose, the best pilots, real masters and aces from Russia and abroad – more than thirty crews in total – gathered in the North Caucasian republic.

As the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, said in his Telegram channel, the Akhmat Race is deservedly considered one of the most exciting events in the world of motor sports in Russia.

“It was with great pleasure that I attended the opening ceremony of the competition,” Kadyrov added. – Multiple champions of various motorsport disciplines compete for the right to become prize-winners and winners of the 4-hour endurance race.

I was very glad that in the “Touring” class the pilots of our “Akhmat Racing Team” team Ibragim Akhmadov and Dmitry Bragin won, and in the S1600 class the strong-willed victory was won by Dzhabrail Akhmadov and Andrey Petukhov. I am sure that many more great achievements await them ahead.”

Ramzan Kadyrov also announced that during the opening of the event he awarded the honorary title “Honored Artist of the Chechen Republic” to the famous Russian singer Nana Khatl.
