Most of the State Duma deputies filed income declarations

As of March 31, income declarations for 2022 were submitted by 96.2% of State Duma deputies, informed press office of the lower house. Today is the last day to apply.
The State Duma noted that the declarations were submitted by all independent deputies and all members of the Communist Party faction. Declarations were received from 96.4% of the deputies of the Just Russia-For Truth party, 96% of the deputies of the United Russia faction, 95.7% of the deputies of the Liberal Democratic Party and 86.7% of the members of the New People faction. Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov informedthat Vladimir Putin has already reported income for the past year.
Prior to the amendments to Russian legislation, civil servants, employees of the Bank of Russia and state corporations were required to submit declarations of income, income of spouses and minor children by April 1. Later, this information was published on the websites of these bodies and organizations. On March 1, amendments to the legislation came into force, allowing civil servants and members of parliament not to publish income and property declarations.
