Most Germans are against the supply of Western fighters and weapons to Ukraine in general

The majority of Germans have a negative attitude towards the possibility of delivering Western fighter jets to Ukraine, follows from a survey conducted by the sociological institute infratest dimap commissioned by the ARD media company.
According to these data, only 28 percent approve of such supplies, two-thirds of respondents (64 percent) oppose.
There is no consensus among the inhabitants of Germany on the issue of the supply of German weapons to Ukraine.
Only 14 percent (minus two percent compared to March) believe that Germany is not supplying enough weapons to Kyiv. Four out of ten (43 percent, minus 4 percent compared to March) consider German aid sufficient, and more than a third (37 percent, plus 6 compared to March) even excessive.
“The results of the survey show that, compared to March, the Germans have become even cooler about the supply of German weapons to Ukraine,” write the German media.
It is also reported that, according to the survey, more than half of the respondents (55 percent) believe that Germany is not making enough diplomatic efforts to resolve the conflict in Ukraine.
