Russian Ombudsman Tatyana Moskalkova and Human Rights Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmitry Lubinets spoke on Tuesday via video link.
Moskalkova wrote on her Telegram channel that she had discussed “a number of human rights topics” with her Ukrainian colleague via videoconferencing.
Earlier, she reported that Lubinets had provided important information about Russian soldiers in Ukrainian captivity.
In October, 110 Russian citizens were returned from the territory controlled by Kyiv. Among them – 72 sailors from civil ships. They have been held in a Ukrainian port since February. It was possible to release the sailors as a result of a long negotiation process.
