Moskalkova announced daily complaints about mobilization

Russian Human Rights Ombudsman Tatyana Moskalkova said that she continues to receive complaints about mobilization, despite the completion of activities related to it. According to her, the ombudsman’s office receives about 70 “terrible and hysterical appeals” on military issues every day.
“Today we are on the issues of mobilization, despite the fact that it has already been completed, at least de facto, we receive many requests … and, of course, this is a very difficult topic,” said Ms. Moskalkova at a meeting of the State Duma Committee on Family Affairs, women and children (quote from Interfax).
At the same time, the Ombudsman noted that the apparatus understands the state task and the task of supporting a “specific individual”, therefore they are trying to do everything possible to comply with the law on mobilization.
In this regard, Mrs. Moskalkova proposed to revise all laws that were adopted to support the families of participants in the military operation in Ukraine.
Partial mobilization in Russia was announced on 21 September. On October 28, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu reported that the partial mobilization activities had been completed. In total, 318 thousand people were called up, of which 18 thousand were volunteers.
At the end of September, President Vladimir Putin, at a meeting with members of the Russian Security Council, noted that as part of the partial mobilization, citizens who were entitled to a delay were called up. Among other things, he noted fathers of many children, people with chronic diseases or those who have come out of military age. Many mobilized repeatedly complained about poor supplies.
