Moscow manufacturers presented their products at the International Exhibition of Cable and Wire Products

The 22nd International Exhibition of Cable and Wire Products Cabex is taking place in Moscow. The capital’s manufacturers are widely represented there. In total, more than 250 companies from 67 regions of Russia and friendly countries are taking part in it this year.

“More than 20 Moscow enterprises are engaged in the production of cable and wire products. It is used in construction, including the metro, for repairs and laying cable power supply lines,” commented Vladislav Ovchinsky, Minister of the Moscow Government, Head of the Moscow Department of Investment and Industrial Policy.

He added that companies are actively using the support of the city, such as subsidies, tax breaks, and assistance with exporting.

For example, the Moscow enterprise Spetskabel, which has the status of an industrial complex, presents cables for operation at voltages up to 1000 V. They are needed for operation in extreme conditions. The company also has high-flexibility cables for mobile devices and robotics.

And the POLYPLASTIC group will present new fire-resistant pipes at the exhibition. The products are used for laying and protecting cables. They have improved strength characteristics due to an optimized wall profile and a special formulation of polymer raw materials. The developments also include pipes with a fire-resistant layer and a function for determining the location of damage.
