On the eve of the winter holidays, the capital’s holding company produced almost 5 million gift sets. The details were provided by the Minister of the Moscow Government, Head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of the capital Vladislav Ovchinsky. “The Moscow factories of the United Confectioners holding, which have the status of an industrial complex, produced more than 4.5 million sweet gifts for the New Year. Sets from the companies “Red October”, “Rot Front” and “Babaevsky” have already appeared in stores across the country,” said Vladislav Ovchinsky. He recalled that today there are hundreds of confectionery enterprises operating in Moscow with a total staff of over 19 thousand people. Companies provide the capital and regions with high-quality candies, chocolate and other confectionery products.

Factories produce 70 options for New Year’s sets weighing from 200 g to 1.5 kg. Companies produce children’s play gifts, for example, plush toys in the shape of the symbols of the year.

“We take into account the wishes of customers, so this year we have expanded the range of New Year’s gifts with new sets. The majority of them include candies “Teddy Bear”, “Little Red Riding Hood”, “Mask” and many others. The holding has a built-in infrastructure for processing cocoa beans, which allows factories not to depend on the supply of imported chocolate semi-finished products and control quality at every stage of production,” noted Yulia Dorofeeva, director of the holding’s marketing department.
