The night from 8 to 9 November was the warmest night in Moscow since at least 1948. Evgeny Tishkovets, a leading specialist of the Phobos weather center, told RIA Novosti about this.
The specialist noted that at the basic metropolitan weather station, the minimum temperature at night was plus 5.8 degrees.
“In meteorological history, this is the warmest night for November 9 since the founding of the VDNKh weather station, that is, at least since 1948,” RIA Novosti quotes him.
Tishkovets also said that the next four nights will also be unusually warm for this season. At the same time, it is possible that new temperature records will be set in the dark.
