Moscow company began exporting robotic baristas to the UAE

The capital’s enterprise has launched the export of robotic baristas to the UAE. The devices can prepare coffee, accept orders and payments. “Moscow industrial production is developing innovative devices and increasing production volumes. Thanks to the created conditions in the city, industrialists have the opportunity to grow and increase sales,” said Vladislav Ovchinsky, Minister of the Moscow Government, Head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy.

He cited the example of the Moscow company FIBBEE, which began supplying robotic baristas of its own design to the UAE. The devices are fully automated. Goods worth more than 13 million rubles have already been exported. Robot baristas take orders and payments and prepare drinks. The buyer can place an order remotely through a mobile application or directly on the device screen. You can choose the strength of the drink, the type of milk and syrup. The robot can make more than 100 cups per hour. According to the founder and CEO of the company, Alexander Khvastunov, since 2018, more than one hundred thousand unique users have placed orders for coffee in smart coffee shops.

At the beginning of 2023, the company began delivering robot baristas to the UAE. The first locations in Dubai were added to the already existing network of robo-coffee shops in Moscow and St. Petersburg. All solutions, including the syrup system, robotic arms, beverage dispensing system, as well as the program code, were developed by a team of in-house engineers and programmers.
