The head of the Communist Party faction in the State Duma, Gennady Zyuganov, commented on the information about the detention of his grandson Leonid. He did not rule out that the incident was a provocation. Earlier, Telegram channels reported that Leonid Zyuganov left the gas station without paying for gasoline, for which he was detained on October 8.
“Yes, a provocation… they didn’t stop… all this was already in relation to (us.— “b”), the leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation told RIA Novosti.
As clarifies Telegram channel Baza, Leonid Zyuganov was detained by traffic police officers when he was driving along Kutuzovsky Prospekt. Before his arrest, Mr. Zyuganov refueled the car at the Rosneft gas station, after which he attached his bank card to the payment terminal and, without waiting for the money to be debited, left. Employees of the gas station passed information about the driver of the car to the police.
Leonid Zyuganov in a conversation with the SHOT Telegram channel toldthat he really refueled the car at a gas station on Mozhaisk Highway. Mr. Zyuganov noted that the cost of gasoline amounted to 2.8 thousand rubles, he paid for the fuel with a bank card through a special terminal, after a beep he put it in his wallet. According to him, none of the employees of the gas station told him about the unpaid bill.
