Moscow began to supply components for cars of the Chinese brand

According to Vladislav Ovchinsky, head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of Moscow, the supply of the first batch of parts for the Haval F7 was started by the Moscow manufacturer of auto components, Alfa Automative Technologies. There are currently 1,600 Haval F7 front floor units in production. The car is assembled by an enterprise in the Tula region – “Haveil Motor Manufacturing Rus”.
“Earlier, the capital manufacturer of auto components and the Tula plant signed an agreement under which body parts for popular Chinese crossovers will be produced in Moscow,” said Vladislav Ovchinsky.
Alfa Avtomativ Technologies launched production in the south of Moscow in December 2022. The production capacity of the enterprise is designed to produce up to 12 million body parts for various cars annually. The Tula automaker will annually receive up to 6.5 million parts from the capital’s enterprise. According to the CEO of the company Zorigto Sakhanov, the February delivery of the front floor of the cabin for the Haval F7 will launch a large-scale import substitution project and localization of the assembly of these cars.
“Under the contract, the Moscow plant will produce 106 different body components. Also, AAT specialists are completing the adaptation of the stamping tooling of the second serial part – the rear floor of the cabin for this model, ”summed up Vladislav Ovchinsky.
