Moscow and Washington are ready to extend the agreement on cross-flights, provided that it is successfully implemented, said Sergei Krikalev, executive director of Roscosmos for manned programs.
He added that it is necessary to implement those three flights that are already agreed upon, noting the agreement that if everything is done, then the parties will continue further.
On July 15, Roskosmos announced the conclusion of an agreement on cross-flights of Russian and US cosmonauts to the ISS. The first flights are scheduled for the fall of this year, with the Russian Soyuz to the ISS, the American Francisco Rubio will go, and the Russian Anna Kikina will go on the American Crew Dragon.
Krikalev added that Roskosmos also admits the possibility of Russian cosmonauts flying on the American spacecraft Starliner, but there are no negotiations on this yet.
